Installation Instructions

DO NOT install these updates unless you are updating Heritage Collector version 4.0 or higher.

1. Close Heritage Collector before proceeding. Click the Download Update link above. (the following screen shots are from IE Explorer - FireFox displays will look different).

2. Click the Run or Save button. If you click Save, specify the location where you would like to save the update file. You can also click Run if you do not want to save a copy of the file.

Click Run. The update process will automatically begin.

Click Next. The update process will automatically begin.

Please Note

ProMedia Manager Suite Software

Note: These updates will NOT update / upgrade previous versions of ProMedia Manager software.

Using these Heritage Collector updates may cause ProMedia Manager software to stop working correctly.

You must UPGRADE ProMedia Manager BEFORE you can use any of these program updates.

Backup Your Collections

It's impossible to guarantee the status of that any file downloaded via the internet. Occasionally files may be damaged during the download process and not work properly when activated.

It is always a good practice to backup your collections before installing an update. Using the Backup function in the Professional version is quick and simple. Please backup periodically to safeguard all your collections.
